Why do people have to make things more difficult?

So my brother's wife, whom I have known since I was born - - she used to change my diapers...is giving me the hardest time with bridesmaid dresses.  She lives 45 minutes away from the bridal store, apparently this is too far for her to travel to twice.  So, she is going to go once and pick her dress up and bring it to get altered at her own place, well that's totally fine BUT her daugther is a jr. bridesmaid and the dresses that we picked basically need to be reconstructed to make it more age appropriate - - they need to get done by the store as they were the ones that gave the vision of the dress...she is giving me a hard time about this saying, "Im not going back and forth its too far"...GRRRR

    I am going to suggest that because I do live closer, but it's also just another thing to add to my to do list ...meanwhile she works only 2 days week and her kids will be on summer vacation next week, so it's not that I am asking her to take a day off or something to do this...it's just her way of being a pain in the ass.

    That's annoying. Since when is 45 minutes too far to drive? Just to get it done, maybe offer to pay for her gas to get to and from the store?

    This is one of the reasons I decided to only have two bridesmaids!  No drama from either of them!

    Thanks girls, I am going to make sure the bridal shop gives her exact details of how we wanted it and hope for the best...its just not worth the stress
