Smart & Chic problems....

My wedding is next weekend and we are set-up for hair and make-up with Smart & Chic. I haven't been able to get a hold of them for over a week. I have been emailing and calling with no response. Anyone else having problems getting in touch with them????

    Wow...I am absolutely not a vendor. I am a bride that is starting to freak out that I won't have hair and make-up next week for 10 women!!!!

    I just got an email from them this morning and always had good luck getting a hold of them. Who are you trying to get in contact with?

    I tried contacting them about engagement pics hair and makeup and left a voicemail.  I got my call back about a week and a half later and told her I had already booked someone else (which I had).  She apologized and said they were REALLY behind on their voicemail.

    I have been trying to get a hold of Anita, the one who does scheduling. The phone goes straight to voicemail and I have emailed 3 times in the past week. Hopefully since you have been contacted them, they are working their way towards my emails!!

    Have you tried contact your makeup/hair artists directly?  That's been most effective for me.

    I contacted S&C this past week about setting them up for my wedding. I got an e-mail reply from someone through Spalon Montage, saying that they joined forces with Smart and Chic. Seemed weird but not out of possibility I suppose. I don't know how this helps you though :/  Try contacting Spalon Montage??? - shrug -

    I've certainly heard of Smart and Chic, but really know nothing about it, except that I hear they do great work.  Is it possible just to stop by, rather than call/email, to confirm everything? Obviously not the most convenient, but hopefully that way you'll be able to connect with someone to confirm everything.

    This same thing! I am wondering if they are really booked and don't have a lot of extra hands or something.

    I remember at the GTG that we were talking with the owner or manager or whatnot, and she mentioned that they have a hard time keeping up with the volume of emails they get, and she was trying to think of a better system for it. Obviously it doesn't sound like anything has changed yet. Hm I don't have my individual stylists contact info, or know who my 2nd stylist is(I am assuming we have 2, not actually sure)

    I guess I would drop in on them if possible-

    They did join forces with Spalon, it was on S&C's facebook page last week.  The S&C Beauty Lounge downtown has hours from 12-8pm on Friday and 12-5pm on Saturday - I would definitely stop in!

    I've been in contact with Anita this week actually. I had sent her an email about 2 weeks ago asking to see the schedule for my wedding and she just got back to me this week. She said they're really behind? I would suggest either contacting the stylist they assigned to you or dropping into their salon. Good luck!

    I've also had a hard time getting them to respond to my emails and VM.  I've been waiting for a month (probably let it slide longer than I should have).  Anyone know of a better way to get them to respond, or do I really need to stop in in-person?

    I had a meeting with my coordinator last night and she told me that this is something they are transitioning into. It hepefully will help them be able to keep on top of communication and not have to trun away so many clients.

    As far as getting a hold of someone, I've had issues with it but normally if I send a couple of them reminding them I haven't heard back then they get back to me within a few hours. I know I was just talking to Lisette (SuperRN) a couple of days ago and she couldn't get a hold of them to set up her trial until she posted on their facebook wall, so maybe try that?
