Free CT venues or budget friendly For Military Couple

I'm feeling overwhelmed trying to find a unique wedding venue preferably free something different for up to 10 guests on 03Sep12. And can anyone suggest an officiant? I'm in Chicago so no help but Internet. Short time frame due to military obligations. Please help. Thank you in advance. No reception planned. Already have photography/ cake taken
care of.

    What about contacting restaurants with a pretty view and asking if you can have a ceremony there before hand and have a private room?  I know a couple who did this due to immigration reasons (he was granted fiance visa, so they had only 90 days to get married for him to stay) and they had a beautiful restaurant in RI right on the water, had the whole upper floor for dinner & dancing, and got married on the deck for free.  All they had to pay for was dinner for each person!

    You could ask the Chicago local board, they might be able to give you more help on venues and officiant.

    For cheap/free locations, I'd suggest looking into local parks/public owned areas. The rental fee is usually very low, and they might give military discounts.
