OMG, I've been hunting for a makeup artist for a while.
Back when I used to shoot boudoir sessons all. the. time. we did these massive 2 day events at the most $$$ hotels in dallas. It would be like 2 days straight of shooting clients, around 25 per day. 2 photographers, 2 MAC artists, 2 hair stylists, 2 clothing stylists, etc... It was me and my (then) best friend shooting.
We quickly became VERY close with all of our vendors we used, so naturally I contacted my 2 MUAs from those days to do my makeup.
The first (who i've used for the longest) responded and said she only takes bookings 5 months in advance and right now she's busy selling diet supps and isn't taking clients, but if i want to wait until January I can check back and see if she'd consider. Wow. Okay, no thanks.,
The second never responded. I was super bummed b/c it seemed very out of character for her to just say nothing.
Today I messaged her again. Come to find out she's spent the last several weeks working (doing makeup and hair) on the set of a movie starring bill paxton and luke perry and was unable to respond.
And she offered to do my hair and makeup and my MOHS makeup for free as a wedding gift to me. OMG.
I'm without words. I could not be more excited.
