Earring help!!

Alright ladies... I need your help.

I'm trying to decide what to do about jewelry for me and my BMs. My dress has some pearls along the neckline so I definitely want to incorporate that more than anything... but I'm starting to think I should be wearing a little bit of bling to "stand out" especially because my dress is rather understated. I definitely know I don't want a necklace because of the neckline... I'm thinking earrings/ bracelet and hairpiece (for the reception, when I pull my hair back).

Let me also say that I've asked my mom and sister for their opinions on a lot of things and it always seems that they shoot everything down, which gets me nowhere/ back to the start and I need to begin to make these decisions!! So I'd definitely appreciate some dialogue, ranking, reasoning, or other ideas!! You ladies are the best!!

For you: I like the third pair of earrings (the 3 1/4" ones) and the ones you put for BM earrings. My dress has similar beading to yours but no pearls. I've found that any 'bling' like CZ doesn't really match the dress. So I'd stick to pearls and the clear crystals that perfectly match your dress.

For your bridesmaids - I'd just get a set of pearl earrings or a small cluster of pearls, not drop earrings, to differentiate them from yours.

Thanks! :) And thanks for the advice. Definitely good points to consider. I may also consider switching to a set of pearl earrings during the reception so I don't hurt myself with long dangly earrings while I'm dancing!!!

agree with the girls above! i am doing tear drop earrings and my BM will be wearing smaller versions with less bling (so they all will wear them again since they are not so over the top) so the smallers ones u will be getting your girls are really nice...i would wear them again if i was ur BM haha!

OMG I LOVE all your earring inspirations...they are exactly what I am looking for. I want ivory pearls too! I was thinking I would only need earrings and I was going to get a long pearl necklace and earrings for my MOH and a short pearl necklace with satin bow and earrings for flower girl (no BMs in my wedding).

I didn't read everyone elses but I like the 2nd pair of earrings personally

I too strugled with the bling or pearl question and I just found that the pearls looked great with my dress and that if gave me more of an elegant bride look that I loved! If you want to look ritzy go with the diamond look.

As far as the bridesmaids I think the earrings are beautiful. And depending how they wear their hair them having dangly earrings might not even matter. If they will have up do's and it will be super noticable I'd probably go with something smalled. If they will be down or half up I think the earrings you have picked out will be great.

Since you're not wearing a necklace, I definitely think the blingy ones would be perfect! They're so pretty and they still have the pearls, so they'd match your dress. I do agree with PPs, I'd go with something a little more subtle for the BM if you wear any of the dangly ones, but both of the options are very pretty!
