Honeymoon resorts in Carribean or Central America!

Wanting your opinions on places you have stayed. Looking for all-inclusive destination great for an adventure honeymoon. Would love beach/jungle combination. Medium sized resort ideal, nothing too small as we would like to meet and socialize with other couples but not looking for a huge monstrosity of a resort either. A nice balance :)

Favorite locations: Belize, Costa Rica, Anguilla, Turks and Cacos, Mexico.

ANCIENT RUIN tours a HUGE bonus!

I went to dreams tulum in Riveria Maya a few years back. It's an all inclusive resort and it was amazing. Definitely the best vacation I had ever been on, but I have also heard great things about Couples Resorts in Mexico.

We went to the Sandals' Royal Carribean Montego Bay Jamaica. Pics in bio, but that is just a few of the tons that we took.

We also went on several excursions. Due to time constraints, we had to pick and choose which ones we wanted to do but there were definitely some really fun and interesting excursions as well as stuff to do on the resort, ie: kayaking, sailing, dune buggy.

Kelly, I've been looking at El Dorado in Riveria Maya. It has assorted styles of casitas (rooms), individual etc. It's all inclusive and there are a TON of excursions that you can do around the area! My TA strongly recommends them because of their food and the quality of the resort. PM if you want more info!

We were looking at Mexico-Secrets Resorts but friends/parents have said Mexico is too violent.  I haven't checked it out but they said the State Dept. has issued travel warnings recently.  So I think we are going to Carribean - St.Thomas.  Don't forget Passports too.

I went to Aventura Spa Palace a few years ago, and it was absolutely amazing. All inclusive, a variety of excursions to choose from, and it's an adults only resort.

i have definitly heard about the violence in Mexico and can tell you that there is a travel warning out for them... However not to scare anyone but i have heard the same thing for  being "off resort" at some of the other carribean islands.

regardless we are going to Jamicia and staying at "couples" resorts.
