  I also love this idea and wish I could pull it off.  I think it's really cute with the shorter tea length or knee length dresses too, it gives it a retro kind of feel.  You HAVE to post pictures if you dye it.

  A friend of mine dyed hers purple . I'm pretty sure she just used RIT dye and water.
