Questions for Photographer?

Hey girls, After having 1 photographer fall through we've finally found someone else that we want to meet with. I'm excited because she's actually much better than the other gal we were going to work with and she came down on price!!

We're in the process of setting up a meeting to talk with her but I need to know what are some questions I should be asking? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    I copied this from a list I had made up when we were photography shopping... Hope it helps! 

    1. Will you be my photographer the day –of? If not, when can I meet them? What is the backup plan if you are unable to shoot the day of? Who is the backup photographer? Or is there a refund given?

    2. How long after the wedding will we receive our pictures?

    3. How will we receive our pictures? CD… DVD… flash drive… actual proofs? 

    4. Will the photos be high resolution? Edited? Non-watermarked?

    5. Will we have all the rights to the photos to print as we please and with whom we please?

    6. How much per hour will you charge if we ask you to stay later the day of?

    7.  Have you ever shot at Roycebrook before? At a golf course / outside wedding?

    8. Do you prefer posed shots or candids? Do you take an equal amount of both?

    9. Are you OK with guests taking lots of photos as well?

    10. What is your refund policy?

    11. How many photos do you usually take during a wedding? How many photos will we receive?

    12. Do you charge for travel? If so, how much will the charge be?

    13. How long before the wedding do you usually start shooting?

    14. Can I give you a list of must – take shots?

    15. When do you need a list of must – take shots?

    16. How much of a deposit is required? When will the remaining balance be due?

    Ask to see full set of pictures from a recent wedding (similar to yours, if possible)

    And MAKE SURE YOU LIKE THEIR PERSONALITY! You'll be with them ALL day long, you dont want them to be bothering you.

    In addition to the previous suggestions, I would also ask if they were insured- some facilities (like mine) ask for certificate of insurance from your vendors.
