Happy Hump Day!

I love Wednesday's just because I get to say HUMP all day.

Second day of carpooling with Drew and so far so good. It gets me into work really early before anyone else is here and I get lots done. I also don't have to deal with traffic. Drew drives and I put on my make-up. We are going to keep doing this Mon, Tues and Wed. Then will drive separate on Thur and Fri.

I'm going to court today. I have a sibling group of 4 who's adoption is finalizing. I'm so excited and happy for them! It was a big job finding them a family.

What does everyone have going on today?

Today I'm working until 5, then heading home to get stuff done for this weekend. We are going grocery shopping to get everything needed for our visitors (my brother, SIL and 3 kids, my niece and her 2 young brothers she currently has care of). Then its an evening of big time housework! Hoping to get some work done on invitations in there too! Lol I am still trying to get them out for Friday... we'll see how that goes!

Nothing too exciting here today, although I am happy that Hump day is here!! Work all day and then the gym! It is HOT outside today, suppose to readh 97 with a heat index of 106 - glad to be inside in the AC!

I have two weeks until our trip to Puerto Rico and I have to finalize which resorts we plan to visit and which vendors we'll meet with.

Congrats on finding the four kids a family together!

Nothing exciting here today either. I have a slight vent from yesterday that I'm still upset about. I went to get my driver's license name and address changed and sat there for an hour and a half. They called a group of three or four people at 4:30 and there were only three people in front of me after that and they close at 5. They finally came back out at 5 and said they were closed for the day. Now I will have to go and wait another day. The people there were saying that the average wait time is three hours. And that's at the place 30 minutes outside of town which is supposed to be the quick place! Every time I have driven by the ones in town, there is a line going around the building just waiting to get a number! I'm thinking I should wait till school starts back and go to the same one I did go to, or drive to another small town even farther away. I went there about two years ago at the beginning of May and there were only five people in front of me. I can't believe that it's gotten that much busier in that short of a time frame.

FI has the week off and is coming into the city to meet me for lunch! Later he is going to meet his best friend for some guy time before he (the friend) and his wife moves to texas next week so I will do some window shopping after work! I got to spend some girl time with his wife last week...they are like family and i will miss them being here but i know for sure we will visit them in texas soon!

Kimmy - that is wonderful news, well done! I hope everything goes according to plan in court today!

It seems that Victoria may have finally gotten some summer weather, yay! I will be working outside most of the day (and trying to tan!), until 4pm. Then heading to the gym for my usual Wed night ass kicking. My gf and I have a standing Wed night date for sushi too, so I am pretty excited about that as well.

We are that much close to the weekend ladies, have a wicked day.

Ayways, I have a meetign with my union rep today to go over my work situation. I am a little nervous but its just talking to her to find out what my rights and stuff are. I will let you know how that goes. I am supposed to be there in about 10 minutes.

Other than that, just working til 5 and then my parents want to come over to see the new place. I said that we were going to order Chinese, but I think we will take them to a sushi place that we love right next to the house.

So the humpty hump...oh do my baby...!!! Kimmy great news on the family! I'd love car pooling too! Britt thats a lot of visitors, have fun! Julyet have a nice lunch. Cathy keep us posted and get a darn fake fbook. Today I'm playing limbo with the hospital DHs surgery is at and where he has to go for a CAT scan. It was last night but they didn't have the orders. Today I found out they do have the orders but when I call nobody can find them. WTF!
