Philly Area DJ

Hi everyone! I'm still in the early stages of the planning process, but I'm having a bitof trouble trying to find a DJ. The ones I've seen so far are very commercial and cheesy. I'm looking for someone who will direct the night, create a fun atmosphere, but not steal the focus. So no games, ice breakers, constant announcements, corny jokes, etc

Haha I know it's a lot to ask, but that's a good balance to me. If anyone has any good suggestions, let me know!!!

I own a DJ company and right now am offering $100 off anyone who mentions this website. I have done weddings of all cultures and music. My lighting and sound equipment is state of the art. We are extremely profesional and affordable.

    Website:<a href="http://www.indiandjnewyork.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.indiandjnewyork.com</a>
    Email: contact@indiandjnewyork.com

I know the website says Indian, but that is just my speciality. We do all types of weddings on a regular basis.
  • I highly recommend East Coast Event Group. My DJ (Mike Rossi) was phenomenal.

Synergetic comes highly recommended on this board as well.

  • (I'm copying this from another post I wrote recommending my dj, because I'm lazy)

We used Sean McCaffery with Center Stage Entertainment. He was absolutely wonderful, including when we needed to rearrange the order of events because my husband didn't feel well. None of our guests even noticed that things were running behind, or not going "according to plan". He was very professional, and wonderful to work with the entire time.

Also, ask your venue - that's how we found our dj, and it helps to have someone who has worked with your location a lot.

Try RunAwayWithUs Djs, its a younger guy that runs it so its not too cheesy, but they are still very interactive with the crowd and keep everyone dancing all night.

    Their website is http://www.RunAwayWithUs.com
