I'm trying to decide if I want to pick a special song or go with the song provided by the chapel. What is everyone doing?

    I let fi pick the songs, but I think he did awesome! Wedding party will walk out to "Lovely Day" by Bill Withers, I'll walk out to "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis, and then we'll walk back to "Viva Las Vegas" also by Elvis.

    wow!  I didn't realize you could ft so many songs into a wedding ceremony, lol...We're walking in with Canon in D, I detest the bridal march or whatever it is.  I didn't even think about after the ceremony, do all the chapels in Vegas do music after??  Our ceremony will be at COF

    Now I'm thinking I have to have my own music. I'm also getting married at COF and just asked my coordinator about it. She told 4 songs.

    Yep, COF can do 4 songs, we're only having 3 since we're not doing the unity candle so we won't need one for that. I say do it! It doesn't cost extra so why not!

    Just got married at COF on 12/12/12.

    Bridesmaids walked down to the instrumental version of Yellow by Coldplay

    I walked down to Endlessy by Green River Ordinance (such a perfect song!)

    Recessional song was Burning Love by Elvis..so fun!! =)

    I know...I'm so freaked out, in a good way. I hadn't even thought about this music and now I'm like "Oh S#*t!" I need to get moving on this among other things I'm trying to finalize.

    FYI....I love Thousand Years as well...such a powerful song

    I would like to incorporate Shania Twain's Forever and For Alway because every time I hear that song I think of my FI.  I love that song!  Not sure if it would work during the ceremony though *shrug*

    *edit*  I just found From This Moment by Shania, omg, it's perfect :)  The lyrics are probably even more suited to the wedding than the first song

    We walked down to 'The Feather Theme" (or Feather Song, can't remember - google it.) from Forrest Gump and walked out to the Peanuts Theme song - had to lighten up the otherwise solemn event. :)

    We passed on the unity candle as well, so only the 2 songs were needed.

    Hummmm just spoke with my we'd planr at COF she said 3 and we are doing both unity candle and glass breaking. Someone did my cd so guess maybe I should bring an extra just in case. I don't want to b short.
