I now know the exact day I'm moving

Well ladies I learned the exact day that I will be moving in with my FI in Belgium. I woke up this morning with a text from him telling me to check my email and in my email was the confirmation for a one-way plane ticket to Brussels on July 25. My mom was like "WOW it's so real now." Pretty much the wedding is going to be a wedding/going-away party...ahhh. So much work to do!

    When I get there I will apply to petition to have a loved one come to the states. The next lottery is in 2012, hopefully we can get a visa for him then, if not we wait and just keep going wiith life there.

    Wow. It is real now.  FI and I set the date to purchase his plane ticket to come over for April 27.  When we set that date it really did become all the more real. 

    BTW, Belgium has a lottery system to give VISA's away? I was confused by that part.

    The lottery is for his US Visa. For Belgium  the visa process is super easy for me.

    Congrats on your official move date!  Are you doing a blog while you're there?  If so, let us know what it is so we can follow your adventures!  You could call it "Being a Black Bride in Belgium"... LOL (I know you aren't a Bride anymore, but I loved the alliteration - yes, I'm a nerd!!)  Smile
