Bridal Gown in less than 3 months

I'm getting married in less than 3 months and just started my bridal search (to put in perspective just booked our venue too). I've found that most places will likely not get a gown back in time. And I went to David's Bridal and was sadly disappointed. Anyone have other places to check out with shorter or quick timeframes? PLEASE HELP!

This weekend there is a Pronovias sample sale in the city... not sure if that's what you are looking for but may be worth a shot...

    http://www.pronovias.com/samplesale-us-13032011/

Priscilla of Boston in Short Hills has sample sales fairly often too.  Good luck!

David's Bridal will always quote longer than it actually takes.  My dress from DB came in a month after I placed the order.  Anything I've ordered from DB has always come in quicker than scheduled.

It may not be exactly what you are looking for but you can always do an elaborate prom dress since it is prom season now.

Also check out Craigslist and eBay.

What size are you? Some people on this board, and also on the Trash to Treasure/Wedding Classifieds boards, are selling their gowns.

Buy something from David's, off the rack? Or as pp say JCrew, or Dept stores.

    BIJOU BRIDAL in paramus!!!!

Due to unfortunate circumstances with my first dress I went there TWO months before my wedding and they were able to get me a BRAND new dress. It wasn't for every dress in the store but they have their own exclusive line and I was able to get one from there and they did all of my alterations in a WEEK.

They were fantastic and their prices on the exlusive line were reasonable (cheaper than my first dress and it was so much better)

Def make a trip there!!!! It can be done!!!

I would say, find a dress you like and see if anyone is selling in on the classified section of TK.  Tons of stores (in NYC) allow buy unaltered gowns off the rack and then have them altered. And, if it's something you really want but they have to order it, they can get it to you, you have to pay a rush fee but it's not a ridiculous fee.

I got my gown from Pronovias flagship store at a sample sale, so if there is one there this weekend like a PP said, you should go.

Also, you can find a big selection of Cherished Bridals in Wayne.  It's a bridal consignment shop (many are unworn w/tags from canceled weddings).

    WOW thanks everyone.
Already went to Bijou - unfortunately the one i loved wasn't in their private label that they can get easier.
I am trying to get appointment for the sample sale.
And looking into some of the department stores and lines you mentioned.
I have like 5 appointments in the next 48 hours - I had no idea dresses took long... wish me luck!
    THANKS AGAIN!

Check out best bridal prices online. (www.bestbridalprices.com). They have BEAUTIFUL gowns at very affordable prices.  I bought my dress 3 weeks ago. It was at my doorstep in a week.
