- what kind of music he plays? Most DJs observe the floor and change the music type if people are not responding well. That leads us to the next question... -...how is he going to manage the crowd? - what's his experience with different types of weddings (age group, religion, themed weddings etc) - is the equipment insured? - what is he going to do when he cannot attend on grounds beyond his control? Is he going to provide someone to cover for him? If so, who's that person? - how long has he been in the business and what else does he do (as in what type of events) - give him a list of songs NOT to play, no matter who's requesting them (you know, the BAD songs, reminding you of the ex and such)
That's just the ones on top of my head, I'm sure people will come up with plenty more.
Does he have a list of questions for you? Like a detailed document so that every thing is clearly laid out? I can forward you an electronic document that our DJ sent me in case you'd like to review and get some inspiration
