I'm picking up my wedding dress on Thursday! It wasn't supposed to be in until the fall so it was a nice surprise! FI and I also chose the readings for the ceremony!

We made it halfway through our first big wedding DIY project without arguing or getting injured while using power tools. We still have to finish it up, so hopefully part two will go as smoothly as part one did!!

I re-downloaded myfitness pal and have added everybody who has posted usernames. I'm ready to get serious about my weight and am excited to start daily accountability so I'll feel hossibly guilty if I eat too much junk. :P

Im so excited my dress is in. It wasn't suppose to be in for about 8 more months. And now I have to wait to pick it up till the end of the month. Ahhh. Also FI is starting to jump on board with wedding plans which is kind of a big deal.

I go dress shopping this weekend!!!! I'm really excited. There's one dress in particular I've been dying to try on since I first saw it a bridal expo back in January and I'm really hoping I love it.

We made huge progress on deck building this weekend too. I got zero school work done and my shoulders are burnt to a painful crisp, but hopefully we can finish this project and enjoy our hand built deck.

Me: WE BOOKED THE PHOTOGRAPHER!!! I Love love love her work. I am super happy and excited. Everytime I look at her photos I'm in awe lol. One HUGE check completed for us. I probably should've waited til wedding wednesday but meh, I'm happy haha.

I started my new job today, 1st day there. It was really overwhelming, and it is going to probably take me a month to learn everything and be able to do anything on my own. Plus, they approved a pre-booked vacation (booked before I interviewed with them) and so I'll miss a week of work, which I'm glad because I want to go on vaca with FI, but I'll also be a week behind in training so I'm nervous about that.

Just got a text about 10 min ago from FI that his Uncle (his Aunt's ex-hubby, but who he was always very close too) died today. He had cancer and finally lost the battle. FI was there with him to say goodbye and there when he died. I havn't talked to him on the phone yet, so I don't know how he is handling it.

Now I'm stressed about the fact that his memorial is going to probably beduring the day and it's my 1st week at work, I might have to miss it.

But congrats to all you ladies on all your positives!

NMW- 1st day back from vacation and I was very surprised it was a great day. I worked with the girl I hired for my assistent manager today and we hit it off very well. I think things are going to really improve at work and maybe I will not be so darn cranky anymore.

WR- I will probably get at least one hotel blocked for rooms. We are going to need to block at a couple hotels, so many OOT guests.
My oldest daughter was in town this weekend so we were also able to get BM dresses picked and measurements taken. I will order those this fall.

I have been really sick since waking up on the fourth and FI has been taking really really good care of me. Going out shopping and buying me the right oj and cleaning up my tissues, basically waiting on me hand and foot. Doing all that and still telling me how beautiful I am and how much he loves me like fifty times a day. Just makes me remember how lucky I am to have him.

We booked our DJ! So excited, its def not the one that stood us up, that btw never called and never emailed wtf. We are spending double what we were planning on spending, but it includes a ton of lighting, uplights for the entire room, a ceiling wash, and tons of dancefloor lighting. FI and I were absolutely in shock when we went to their studio, at how awesome they were. I am having tons of fun playing with the online planner.
