My confession is NWR. I am hating my job right now and I can barely stand the sight of some people in my office. I am really happy that I am leaving at 2, but that means I have to go to the dentist. When I went last week to get teeth filled, I couldn't stop shaking and almost started hyperventilating. One part of me knew that it was nerves and the other part kept saying that I was having an allergic reation to the novicaine. Now I have to do it all over again because they couldn't do both sides at one time.

I am just having a really crappy day.

I confess I still think I will have my bridezilla moment on my FMIL. She is still asking FI to wear jeans and/or sneakers to the wedding. I won't have sneakers in my wedding pictures, I really don't care what she has on at the reception. I told FI sunday to handle because he doesn't want me to. She really needs to stop using her grandson to get what she wants.

I also confess I'm sad everytime I go to the mail box and there's RSPVs... COME ON PEOPLE!

I confess that I said a lot of nasty things when filling out an RSVP for a second reception for a wedding (not on the RSVP itself, ha, but to myself). It's a wedding that's already causing a lot of stress and headaches, and I wasn't about to go and do it all over again. There was some choice profanity, and then the actual invitation went straight in to the garbage.

my FILs are driving me nuts.
first they disouraged us from getting a mortgage broker, then they didn't seem pleased with who my mom recommended as a real estate agent, then they keep al their opinions on houses we see to themseles. we brought our parents with us to see a house for the first time and then asked them all what they thought. my parents loved it and pointed out concerns. HIS parents said nothing even when I asked them. they then told my fiance all this stuff about it. i said i didn't care because they didn't have the respect to tell me to my face. they then stressed him out to the point he was scared about making an offer. it feels like they don't want us to be happy and buying a home together. i get that it's a change for them too, but if my parents are okay with it, they should be too.

I am disappointed that I still don't have my wedding band and the jeweler still hasn't given me my E-ring back. She is in West Palm which is 4 hours away from me so it's not an easy pick up either. FSIL was going to bring it when she was here for my shower last weekend but it wasn't done. Now the lady is going to UPS it whenever it comes in. I have to have it sent to my grandma's house because I certainly won't be at home. I am super nervous about this

I confess to feeling like a terrible pet parent because I am fed up with our cats to the point of fantasizing about taking them all back to the shelter from whence they came. I woke up this morning to find that one of them had decided to take a ginormous dump on the living room sofa, AND pee between the cushions. We have no way of knowing which of the little brats it was. Only one of the three is proven innocent. HE snuck into my closet last night and consequently got trapped inside til morning. He is probably the dumbest animal I have ever met, but at least he didn't poop on the sofa.

I confess that I also feel like a bad pet parent. Our St Bernard is driving me crazy. We're moving into our new house at the end of September and I am worried about his drool ruining the paint on the walls. FI isn't the one who runs around with a magic eraser cleaning drool and crusted kibble off the walls so he has no idea how frustrating it is. GAH.

I confess to yelling a trees that are already changing colors. I tell them they're not allowed to start changing yet. I figure a couple more weeks and the timing would be just about right. STOP CHANGING COLORS! LOL

Our RSVP date is Saturday. I'm going to wait another week to follow up with people but it looks like we're going to be closer to the 150 mark instead of 200 like I'd been expecting. We invited 300. I will say most of our list is OOT and we knew a good 25 people would not be attending before we even sent the invites. I'm trying to look on the bright side though with all the extra money we'll have for the honeymoon! I also feel bad that my guests nearly double FIs.

Another confession - I think I'm telling FI no sexy time until he has his passport paperwork done, filled out, and in the mail. It's been a month! I don't know how else to get him to DO IT! He has to call his half brother and hopefully get the info for all 6 of his half brothers and sisters he doesn't talk to. None are invited to the wedding (his call) and now he needs their info. He thinks it'll be awkward... not as awkward as me going on our honeymoon ALONE! (I think our back up plan is a cruise)

I confess that I went slightly bridezilla on my bridesmaids. But FI told me he was really happy I finally let them have it. First of all no one got Bridal shower invites until a week & a half before the shower. Now its Less than 2 weeks before the bachlorette party that they claimed to have planned; no one knew what was going on, just what city we were going to, no one would talk to each other kept calling me to call so & so, get an answer to give to someone else, no invitations had been sent out so I went off. I said it seems like this is too big of a problem, so please just cancel everything (although there was nothing to cancel) OR if you guys really want to do this I say we go here, here, here & stay here. No invitations, there is no time make a FB event. Yes ladies I know that's tacky, but IMO so would getting the invitation literally 3 days before the event. So guess what? Next morning my Bachlorette Party was planned & everyone was invited. Crazy how that works. I felt bad, but they were stressing me out & really hurting my feelings, that's why I snapped.

I confess that I am so fed up with my dad's side of the family, and just solidifies WHY I am not close to any of them! We sent out our invites 07/30/12 with an RSVP deadline of 09/01/12 - I have to have my final number by 9/11 so I wanted a few days of cushion to be able to bother the few that hadn't RSVP. Honestly everyone we invited has SUCKED at sending them back, but they are trickling in slowly.

However, NOT ONE of member of my dad's side of the family has sent one back. The only one I got was from my dad, and even then he sent me a Facebook messages saying he lost his invite but wouldn't miss my wedding for the world and he was going to bring my cousin who is 10yrs older than me that I haven't seen in over 12 yrs and more importantly NOT INVITED! Sure we've had a lot of declines, so we have room to accommodate, but that's not the point. *Argh*

This is a wedding, not some party or family get together. You have to RSVP! *end rant*

Also I'm mad at my job. They are totally messing with our schedules and it sucks. I love my schedule. Mon - Fri 830-500pm. Now I'm going to work 730-5 4 days of the week and on Tuesdays I'll work 1030-230. It is what it is, I guess.

I confess that I was upset that only about 20 people came to the shower when many more RSVPed. I have some self-esteem issues that makes me think people didn't care about me enough to come. I had a great time and it was a great shower but I just wish more people were able to come.

I also confess that I am upset with the amount of people who have RSVPed no for the wedding. A couple of them have been because they can't off work, but it is upsetting because I would really like them to be there.

I am trying to think about it as okay we will have more money in our budget and can get hot hor'douvers but it still upsets me.

I confess that I am scared for my niece to throw me a bridal shower because I don't think many people will come since I am having an immediate-family only wedding. This is my first wedding at 43, and so many people have been waiting for this day for me but I just can't afford a huge wedding.

I confess that I am really completely ok with FI not securing any more addresses so we have plenty of room for my friends and family. I don't have many friends, but I am painfully uncomfortable with people I do not know, and I just do not know the people he doesn't have addresses for and we have not mailed invitations to yet! Uncomfortable to knowing I will be nervous in front of everyone at my wedding!

I also confess that I am FURIOUS with my job right now. They are taking away after hour contact privileges for the team I manage - and instead giving me a cell phone to make the the sole after hour duty cell. NOT HAPPY.

I have to admit, I have more than one confession. My bridal shower and stagette were this past weekend, and although I LOVED THEM! I am extremely dissappointed in my family. FI's family almost ALL came (and that was like 30 some people). I had a few friends, which I knew wouldn't miss it, and then my mom, her best friend, and one cousin, that I HAD TO DRIVE THERE! I'm kind of upset because almost all of my biological father's family live in town, and NONE of them bothered to show up.

On top of that, work SUCKS right now, along with most of the brides who commented already. But our fiscal year end is TOMORROW and our vendors are stupid. my bosses are bitches, and I can't stand the fact that they talk about all of their staff behind their backs.

We sent out invites for 450 people, and only 125 have come back so far.... makes me kind of sad that I am going to have to chase after like 200 people (deadline is the 10th).

**End rant....

SAME HERE! We are in Minnesota and the leaves typically change around mid October and our wedding is October 27th! I think we missed that boat! :-/
