Wedding/reception Manor House in Mason, OH

I have a cancelled wedding/reception for the Manor House in Mason, OH. The deposit was $3000. If anyone is looking for their wedding to be here, I am looing to transfer my deposit to a bride to be.     A wedding that far out and you are still losing the deposit? That doesn't make much sense! Good Luck though.
