::snort:: twin baby names

Naming our twin boys... Thoughts?

It's important to me that both boys' names both mean the same thing. Or, if one gets Daddy's initials, so does the other.. Daddy's name is Christian Charles W. Eugene and Charles are the middle names we'd like to use (his Grandpa and my Grandpa's 1st names).

Callum Eugene & Ryker Charles

Callum Eugene & Aden Charles

Callum Charles & Trace Eugene (Cal would get dad's initials, Trace would get a name that means warrior)

Aden Charles & Liam Christian

Aden Charles & Trace Eugene

Garrett & Aden

I'm sure that reasoning will go over real well when they are 13 and want to know why they have f_cked up names.

    Nothing about Trace Eugene says warrior to me. Not a damn thing.

    At least when they get older they can go by Chuck/Charlie or Gene.

    Did I miss something? In none of those name combinations do both of the kids end up with daddy's initials or the same meaning.

    Yes, awful names, but they all contradict her initial naming goals, too.

    Nope, you would be correct in that DG, and her response to that question is even more confusing.

I confuse myself sometimes with my weird name rules... But all the pairs w/ Callum have name meanings like "dove", etc. All the other pairs have names meaning "warrior" or something similarly strong.

    Oh good. That's how I read it, too, and I couldn't make sense of her "ideas" in that context.
