DJ Express in Charlotte

 I just spoke with the owner...very nice and said he interacts with the guests, breaks the ice, keeps the party flowing...which is what I want!  
So has anyone heard anything about them or used DJ Express?

Any other good recs?

Also, is $650 a good price for 4 hours with lighting?

    It's a busy weekend...lots of people aren't around.  And you're asking for specifics, the chances of someone having experience with the vendor you've mentioned and being around this weekend to answer aren't that great.  Be patient and someone might answer.

    Yeah, I know...just anxious...my wedding is soon and I had to rush it due to my dad being ill so its even more stressful...I'm sure I'll get some helpful responses soon.

    I don't have any experience with those DJ's as we used 'All the Right Grooves', which is based out of Charlotte.

    It looks like for 4 hours in Charlotte they're running around $675 (http://www.therightgrooves.com/#!pricing).

    Bethany was our DJ and I would recommend her to anyone. They're both amazing DJs and run a very profession and great company.

    With that said, If the DJ you're looking into has great reviews and you like them (make sure to meet with them), I'd say that price is pretty good from what I've heard and seen for the Charlotte area.

    As Mary said, it's a busy weekend. Hopefully you'll get some more input when people return from trips.

    Decided to use a Bride's DJ...they are out of Asheville but they travel and I did hear good things about them and the price was very good...I never heard back from DJ Express although he was the first one to respond...he said he'd send me an email and that never happened and I emailed him and got nothing so think I dodged a bullet there!Smile
