Getting in Shape

Little bit of fat/skin right by the armpit...

Does anyone else have these? I feel like any time I wear a tank top (made even worse at the gym by the damn sports bras) I have little bits of fat right at the armpit area...I started doing push ups and do check workout, but anyone have any suggestions for other ways to tone that area up?
Thanks!

  • The chicken cutlets? Oh yes you bet I've got them.

The only way I've found of shrinking them is losing weight in general. They slowly shrink with the rest of your fat :)

If anyone has a miracle, I'd love to hear it!

  • Depending on the dress I get those too. Like Sarah said, tho, the only real way to minimize them is to lose weight overall. You can't spot treat your body. But it's great that you're doing chest exercises! Do you do exercises other than your chest?

Keep up with the exercise, and if you haven't yet, make sure you're eating clean/healthy. The way we gain & lose weight, and where, has a lot to do w/ genetics, so don't get too hard on yourself.

  • Thanks ladies! I am trying to lose a few pounds but I'm basically at my goal weight, been doing weight watchers for years just hate that one area! You're right about genetics, my stomach is as flat as it may ever get and I'm never going to be a size 6, and I'm okay with that! Just want to be healthy! Thanks again!
  • Ugh I've been struggling with just a little wrinkles he/folding there which is noticeable in my dress. I have gotten to a size I'm happy with but still it's there... So frustrating. I've found free weights and push ups done very consistently help minimize and at this point I'm expecting the spray ran to help hide a little.

  • I have them. I have had them since high school. When I was 16% body fat I still had them. I just try to wear a shirt that isn't too tight or one that comes up a little further. I really don't pay much attention to them. I have come to terms with stuff I can't change. Mostly. :P
