I need help finding a ceremony/reception venue for a wedding about 150 people... the ceremony doesnt necessarily have to be on the sand just the background. More on the budget side.. I've been looking for 2 weeks straight!!!

    Hey girl!

    I got married at Occasions at Laguna Village in May and it was an absolute dream come true, with budget friendly prices too!!!  It is very plain when you see it not done up... but wow, on the day of the wedding, it was breathtaking!!!  I highly recommend it!!

    Salt Creek beach down in Laguna Niguel/Dana Point rents out the north shore part of the beach for about $125-$600/hrdepending on how many people you have.  I think for up to 150 it is $125/hr.  

    I also looked at Calafia Beach park in San Clemente.  It's not on the beach but is on a bluff overlooking the beach and it is absolutely beautiful!  For up to 150 people the cost is $250 for a 4 hr period which is very reasonable!

    I originally planned on having my ceremony on the beach so I had looked at and researched a few options, however, for various reasons we decided to not go that route (parking can be difficult, a lot won't allow dogs and since we want our dog in the ceremony that limited our options, etc).  If you need more info on some other places let me know.  I probably researched it before :)
