We considered DIYing the chair covers, but after seeing how much it was just to buy the right fabric, it was only a little more just to rent nicer looking chairs!

I've bought almost everything necessary, just haven't started yet. My friend who's a graphic designer offered to help make a nice design for the menus

I already started on my table decor, made a place card board.

I hope to complete my centerpieces within the next few months- although have NO idea where I'll store them until May 2013 :-P

I'll also be making a 'heritage display' using a multiple picture frame and will have our parents' and grandparents' wedding photos. Plus I'll get a couple LED candles that will have each have a card on them, one in memory of friends and family that can't be with us and one in support of legalizing same sex marriage.

Oh, and I plan on making my card box too :-)

Thankfully our venue provides the centerpieces but to add a pop of color I will be adding colored pebbles from Michaels, I'm making tables signs, and tags, all I can think of for now lol

I am DIYing the bouqets, centeripieces, escort cards, decorations for the ceremony, table names, and invites. I am sure there will be more. Thats as far as I have thought about what I need lol

Centerpieces (borrowed so those are done but I want small things for the head table)

Gift bags for bridesmaids and flower girl
Veil? (looked into pricing, very cheap to make and can make it however I want to)

I think I'm going to try to make a wishing tree instead of a guestbook. I found a local place that rents the branches/tree for $40 but I'm sure I could do it cheaper. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to try the whole pomander thing.. Love them! Just don't know if I could make them!
