Your opinon on Receptions as a venue?

Has anyone used Receptions (any location is fine) for their wedding reception?

I wanted to get some input before I even meet with them. They have a good deal going currently compared to what other prices I've seen for our December wedding.

Just looking for any opinions!

    You should post this on the Cincinnati Board. You can find it on the left under "Local Wedding Boards". 

    Receptions is the name of the venue, and I know several ladies have had their weddings there and were really happy with everything.

    I am using Receptions location at Dearborn Country Club i also know that Western Hills and the one in kentucky is beautiful their customer service is AWESOME!

    I had my reception at Receptions Fairfield on New Year's Eve, and I don't have enough great things to say about it. They offered great deals on dinner & the bar (beer, wine, & well liquor was discounted from $12/person to $4/person for example)
    All tablecloths, napkins, chair covers, & bows are included in the price. They have centerpieces, mirrors, & tea lights that you can choose to use. I made my own centerpieces, dropped them off a couple days before the wedding, and they set everything up for me, along with setting out all of my favors.
    When we arrived at the reception, 2 people met my husband & I at the door, took all of our belongings to our table, and asked us what we wanted to drink so it was waiting at our table. They made sure we had all the drinks and everything we wanted all night (which ended up not turning out so great for me in the drink department :)...but it was fun!)
    When I went back after the wedding to pick up my stuff, everyone wanted to make sure we were happy with the reception and that we had a great time...they even wanted to know how the honeymoon was. All of the employees seem to genuinely care about your experience.
    People are still talking about how amazing our reception was, and I definitely have Receptions to thank for a lot of that! I would totally recommend Receptions over & over again!

    A few of my friends had their receptions there, and loved it.  The prices were great, food was good, atmosphere was nice.  Really, I didn't look into it just because so many other people I knew had their receptions there! 

    Definitely go check it out.

    Thank you! I'm going to meet with them on Saturday to check it out. I had been there once before but that was 8 years ago in high school and don't remember it. 

    They have been wonderful talking over the phone and via email so I hope the customer service continues to be great! 

    And like you guys have said, the prices are great. We have a date reserved already there we just need to put down a deposit!

    I had my june 2009 wedding at Receptions in Fairfield and it was the best money spent! I didnt' have to lift a finger the whole time and everything was taken care of. I would use them all over again and highly recommend. Renee and Carrie helped me and always remembered me when i came to visit. I also got beer, wine and well drinks for $4 a person, and also got a great deal on rehearsal dinner.

    I have nothing but good things to say about all of the Receptions locations. They are a great value.

    The staff always goes out of their way to work with me as a vendor. I believe that really says something.
