Memorial Weekend?

After an overwelmingly bad response from my entire family that lives in the north, I'm having to move my wedding date. We have pretty much decided on Memorial weekend. Since I am an OOT bride I have a few questions!

Has anyone had a wedding then? How did it go?

And, as far as weather, how warm does it get?

    I having my wedding Memorial weekend this coming year. It will be pretty warm by the end of May. Usually it is shorts and Tshirt or sundress weather. I am having mine on Friday evening and had no problems booking vendors but I started at about a year out.

    Awesome! Mine is in 2014 and we are starting booking vendors any day now! What is your attire for your wedding? Ours will be at night but it is a very formal event and the ceremony will be outside, I'm worried people will be too hot in their tuxes..

    We are most likely doing tuxes as well and it will be starting at 7. The guys probably will be a little warm but hopefully not too bad and my ceremony will be short. My sister got married in Florida in July and it was outside. She got lucky because it rained before and then stopped which cooled it down. This board has been really helpful in booking venues and vendors.
