  I love the idea. We didn't have room in the budget for this so we were going to set up our own using something like one of these options:

  Obviously, I think going with a professional company is the best option (although I'm admittedly a lot biased as the owner of ShutterBooth in Hampton Roads), but we understand budget restraints as we are planning our own wedding.

  
  

  Out of those options you've got there, I personally like the 'kiss the groom' option. I know photographers in our area feel a little threatened (for lack of a better word) of our service, but the fact remains that they can't do what we do, and we can't do what they do. I think you lose a little bit of the candor you get from your guests when there is a person taking the picture.

  
  

  If there were a way for you to 'register' your photo booth rental and allow your guests to give money towards your balance in lieu of a wedding gift, do you think that would be something you were interested in helping with the cost of what is certainly a want and not a need?

  Absolutely not. Registering for a photobooth is even tackier than registering for a honeymoon.
