Veils: Where did you get yours

Where did y'all get your veils?

I've been looking on Etsy because I really don't want to pay the $1,000 the bridal salon is quoting us for. I found one seller that makes veils that seem to look great and be a really good prices, but I always love getting references!

Thanks!

(I'm probably going to do a cathedral length veil with a blusher - lace trim on the bottom of the blusher and lace starting where the blusher meets the veil>

We ordered mine from Pearl's Place, it was easy, arrived safe and in perfect condition... not to mention cheaper than ordering from the salon.  (504) 885-9213

I wasn't sure about ordering the dress from there, so we didn't, but I felt okay about trying it with the veil and it was perfect.   So, if you know exactly which one you want (brand, style, color, length) you can just call them and they will quote you over the phone.  I think shipping is like $12, lol.

$1,000 for a veil?? Yeah, I'd be shopping around too. I got mine at Alfred Angelo for $50. That's not much help since the closest one is in Richmond. There's a store where my mom lives so that's why I went there. Good luck. Def. don't buy one for $1000.

I ordered my cathedral, cut edge veil from Etsy seller Joyous Illusions.  She is fantastic - I highly recommend her!

Yikes--just saw this whole thing. The short veil that went with my dress was only about $300. That's surprising.

I got mine on etsy too, from the LITMOON shop! I love it, and its perfect for my dress. It was about 30 bucks, and it came in a shade that didnt match my dress, and I simply asked to exchange and they did.

    good luck!

First I'm obsessed with Etsy! But, I would try DIY if you are pretty crafty. I recently googled directions and made two veils for a bachelorette party. It truly was not hard at all - just need my mom, a ruler and an iron!!!! And maybe five dollars if you're feeling like a baller.

honestly - michael's sells veils! unless you are trying to find something super extravagent and detailed you can make your own. the only reason I bought mine from the salon was that they were running a special at the time and it was free with my dress. Ladies it's fabric - I promise you can do it on your own!
