I know I have asked this before, but the places that were recommended to me didn't work out.  I know there are new ladies on here, so tell me where you are getting your dress altered.  I need something ASAP.

    I just sent mine out to get altered but it is down in Crawfordville so unless you are willing to drive about 30 minutes I am no help Frown

    I just found someone who can do it within my budget.  I'm meeting with her next week, but looks like I'm going with Hayley Lauren Couture.

    I've heard that Hayley Lauren is very good at what she does. My wedding planner/coordinator highly recommends her.

    I heard a bad review about her custom dresses, but I've never heard a review about her alterations.  Hopefully she does a good job.

    Pag -- She said it will be about $150 for all my alterations when most people are charging me over $200.

    Wow... which I guess I am not getting much done to my dress but I was charged 70.00 to get it altered and steam cleaned.

    I'm getting a hem (which costs more since it's a pick-up dress), a bustle, and taken in at the bust.

    Yeah with my shoes I was at the right height where I didn't need a hem. I am just getting a bustle, getting it taken in at the bust and getting it steamed.

    I did Nilers in Thomasville, GA and she was super affordable, great work, and quick.
