University of Tampa as a Venue??

Hi girls,
 I saw some photos from a wedding at UT and they were beautiful. I requested some information and was informed if I choose them we have to use their in house catering. Does anyone have experience with UT or does anyone know someone who had their wedding reception there?
1. How was the food?
2. Was the price reasonable?

    I waited for UT for almost six months to give me date. Unless you are an alumni or donor they hate to allow weddings. The school events take precedent and I finally had to give up on the dream. My doctor's daughter got married there last year and she said the food was pretty good.

    I'm a UT alum and my friend got married there a couple years ago. The wedding was beautiful and the food was good. They actually do have a great events staff but lisanunez73 is right, the school events do take first priority there. You also have to worry about the students walking around campus and throughout Plant Hall. My FI and I are planning to do our engagement photo shoot there but I'm thinking about having us wait until after the semester starts because of all the orientation activities that will be going on.
