New to the August 2012 board and wanted to say hello ladies! 

FI and I are getting married August 4th.  We just finally set the date (have been engaged since early october) and we are thrilled!  I can't wait to marry him!

    Congrats on setting your date! I'm also getting married on August 4, and I'm also new to the board. Right after we got engaged, I have to admit, I was more stressed and overwhelmed with the idea of planning a wedding. However, in the last few weeks, we've gotten a lot of details taken care of. I think it was the combination of booking our venue (which I LOVE), and getting my dress (which I doubly love)that has finally made this real and gotten me super excited, rather than overwhelmed. I'm hoping you ladies will be a tremendous resource when it comes to planning, or just destressing.

    As much of a faux pas or as much crap as I might catch for this, this is my second wedding.  I did the big fancy super expensive wedding once already, so if you have questions, I have the knowledge hahaha.  This time around it is much simpler.  In fact I don't know my colors, decorations etc.  My mom and her best friend and surprising us!  I am so excited!
