So, I've been trying to work through the dress dilemma that I was silently facing...

I bought my dress before we picked our venue. '

It makes a difference. I swear.

As gorgeous as it is, It's more 'country club in the summer'. We're getting married at a yacht club in December.

Here's the one I went with. Forgive the terrible hair do... My daughter was crying, and it was the last dress I tried on... I was hot, cranky, and frustrated with my daughter.

One of my good friends from church who got married in November had that dress (her's was ivory, and I believe she replaced the sash under the bust with a colored one), but it fit perfectly with the time of year!

Congrats on the check! Where did you end up getting it?

MBR- I got it at the Bridal & Tuxedo Shoppe in Newark. They were super cool... I ended up getting the dress (a maggie... which is something big to me as I'm not big on name brands) on clearance, for an extra hundred off... and they're holding it there for me till I can get back with my garment bag so it's not sitting in plain view in my house. The two girls who were there were super awesome, and patient! I highly recommend them.

The dress looks amazing on you!! The lace sleeves are beautiful! I think you made the right choice. Especially for a winter wedding. When it comes down to it though.. it's all about how YOU FEEL in the dress!! I hope it's everything you wanted and more!
