Fun surprise ideas??

Is anyone planning a cute suprise for guests or for the groom? I'm stumped for ideas but want to do something. Nothing extravagant, just fun. Anyone doing/ did something as a surprise?

    I don't know if this is what you had in mind, but I wrote my FI a letter and left it on his nightstand in the inn he was staying at the night before our wedding.  I snuck in before our RD and left it there for him to find when he returned (alone) at the end of the night.

    I was planning on giving each guest a bag with water bottles, small snacks and a note, which will be given out when they check in.  Its a nice gesture after driving all that way.
