Makeup Artist?

Where are you getting your makeup done?  Any rants/raves?  It seems like most of the artists I've come across in this area use mineral makeup - anyone know of someone who airbrushes?

I plan on getting my hair and makeup done at People's Day Spa in Waterville.  Not sure if they airbrush though

A friend of the family is a makeup artist for Este Lauder at Macy's and she is going to be doing all of ours.  You can always look into working with any of the girls that work the makeup counters at Macy's, they have all had a lot of training and many of them will do weddings and formal events on the side.  We're saving some money and time this way because she is coming right to us.

I don't think they do airbrushing, but I know that they have more than just mineral makeup.

I would recommend my hairstylist/makeup artist, who is Kate at Studio One in downtown Portland.  She's fantastic... again, not positive that she uses an airbrush, but definitely worth asking because she's very up-to-date and trendy.  Super sweet and fun to work with!

I highly recommend From This Day Forward in Rockland.  They travel and do fantastic work.  I think you can find them on Facebook but not sure if they have another website.  Good luck.

I am in Kennebunkport and I am from Los Angeles. I live in Maine but go back and forth. I am an academy awards makeup artist and airbrushing is my specialty. Go to Laurelmakeup.com to see my work. 207-604-9298 Laurel
