Last weekend, my sister and I went to Emelina's in Tampa to try on dresses because they were an authorized retailer for Sophia Tolli gowns. After trying on two Impression gowns and a few Sophia Tolli gowns, I walked away with a "fuzzy" feeling about one of the dresses.
Yesterday, My Mom, Sister and I all went dress shopping at CC's in St Petersburg.. I made an appointment at this shop because they were holding a Maggie Sottero Trunk Show (and I really liked her designs). After once again trying on like 10 gowns, none of them made me forget the dress my sister and I saw the previous weekend.
(I worked with Monica in the Bridal section and Julie in the Bridesmaids section and both of them were very personable and I would recommend them to anyone)
We made our way back to Emelina's and tried on the dress again. Funny thing, my sister and mom got to the shop before me, and the store associate who helped me last time (Janet) remembered my sister and my niece (all of 3 weeks old) and pulled the specific dress.
I tried it on again, stepped out of the room and looked at my sister. She smiled and said, "Yeah, it's the one. You're giddy in that dress."
Since Sophia Tolli dresses take less than 4 months to order and ship, I won't be ordering the dress until September, or earlier if the dress becomes discontinued. They also took my measurements to make the dress Hollow to Hem for me because I am so short! They also split the cost of the hollow to hem charge and are offering free alterations for the dress because I purchased it through them.
My dress is by Sophia Tolli, Francesca.
