Some of this will help you, some probably won't.

    Diapers
    Wipes
    Toilet paper
    Paper towels

    What Heffa said and
    meat
    oatmeal
    bagels
    cheese
    razorblades
    shampoo/conditioner

Pretty much everything nonperishable.  I tend to buy in threes and regularly go to Sam's.

i also buy the costco ground beef, which is a 6lb tray.  i normally don't freeze it -- i just make it into a variety of things over a weekend, and then i freeze that: meatloaf, lasagna, chili, etc.  it's just as easy to make two lasagnas as it is to make one!

    Let's see...
    laundry detergent
    bounce dryer sheets
    dish detergent
    dish washer detergent
    shampoo
    conditioner
    soap
    shaving cream
    razors
    lotion (face & body)
meat (pork shoulder, ground turkey/chicken, chicken tenderloins)(btw, they'll cut meat up for you there, so you don't have to do it at home)
    LeSeur peas
    greek yogurt
    chocolate sauce
    deluxe nuts
    individual sized chips, crackers, etc

We ... LOVE ... buying in bulk.

It's nearly always cheaper. Costco even has coupons. I ended up with something like $10 off the 8 items I bought there the other day.

Heffa - I love the tabs. I use them up, then use the bucket for trash and scraps when I'm cooking. SO much easier. Then I toss it when I have a new bucket.

Hell, it's winter...I make so much spaghetti and chili and stuff that I could use 20 cans in 3 months.

I think I used my Costco card 4 times. I mainly used it for food for parties I was invited to. Now I just borrow a card when I need something for a party.

No, I'm not the Hispanic lady on the card, but they don't check.

After reading this I feel like I'm not using costco to it's full potential. All I buy there is dog food, butter, tampons and DH's protein (and then whatever catches my eye like hummus, and the GIANT bag of pita chips.)

Remember when they checked hmo's card that her mom was using and her poor mom couldn't buy her stuff and was all embarassed?

    We buy:
    TP
    paper towels
    contact lens solution
    shark week stuff
    plug-ins
    laundry detergent
    fabric softner
    swiffer dry and wet-jet pads

we used to buy coffee before we got the kurig.

Also, random purchases like artichoke hearts and postacios.

Ha! I also will buy shaving cream (for me), shampoo and conditioner (of I an going with a cheaper brand. Also, drugs....like alleve and such.

Can't Wait - I am surprised you don't buy candy there.

I can't! I'd be housebound obese, for real. My work used to buy the big bags...and I'd kill it within a few days. I requested that we stop stocking candy in the office. I have NO self control around candy.

Late, but we buy everything in bulk. Everything. We shop once a month at Costco.

Things they don't offer/don't keep well: Powdered sugar; marshmallows; grape jelly; corn starch; steel-cut oatmeal; Italian dressing mix; black beans.

Some of those I only really need seasonally (marshmallows for fudge). Everything else either keeps, we eat quickly, or it freezes. We tend to buy hardy fruits and veg, and since we live in a dry climate, keeping things in a fridge can extend shelf life way beyond what most people would think. (Romaine lettuce, for example? That'll be good for three weeks, sometimes the whole month.)

It keeps us from going to the store every week and being taken in by impulse purchases and, since we buy mostly the same stuff, gives us a food/household budget for the month that we can stick to.
