Reception in Airport Hanger?

Has anyone out there been to a reception / event at the Commemorative Air Force
Minnesota Wing WII Hanger? My financeand I really love the idea, but can't find any photos of wedding receptions. Please let me know if you have an inside scoop! THANKS! :)

    I've never heard of anyone doing this. You may wanna give them a call and see if they could put you in contact with someone who has hosted an event there. Perhaps they'd be willing to share pics and stuff too!

    I haven't been to a wedding reception there, but I have been to a birthday/anniversary party and it was a seated dinner.  And I must say it was SO COOL!!!  If you want ambiance, that's definitely the place.  It was a surprise party too so we were all inside and they had the guest of honor pull up in a limo and then they opened the hangar doors adn we were all in there.  It's really neat to be able to dine right next to these vintage planes.  It's just an all around neat space.  They made it look VERY elegant too.  They didn't cut any corners with anything though (the people who threw the party).  I would say go for it! It was such a unique space!

    Like the PP I have been to a party in a hanger before- it used to be the Planes of Fame museum- I don't know if it's even still around. It was soooo cool! It was all vintagey feel surrounded by all the vintage planes and swing music! We are still talking about what a great party it was and how the whole theme fit so nice!
