I found the jewelry I want to wear for my reception!!! YAY!!!

So for a while, I have been looking at what to wear for the reception and I knew I didn't want to do yellow gold since I am wearing that for the shaadi and with such heavy pieces you can't wear them any other time except another Indian wedding.  Well I haven't been able to find much Indian white gold jewelry that I can wear, but  Ithink I have come upon this necklace and I think with desi standard its not heavy enough, but do you guys think this will pass for a Indian wedding?  Picture below...It is white and rose gold.

The colors will match my engagement ring too.

    I dont know anything about Indian weddings but this is too pretty to pass up!!

    OO, what color is your reception outfit going to be..its is baby pink!! if so then i have to say I love that color! I wanted to do the baby pink before but ended up with emerald as my reception outfit color, but nevertheless am very happy with it!

    our colors were pink and blue, but I haven't really decided if to choose which kind of pinks and blues for the reception.  Everything looks too good for me.  In my planning website, under attire, I have a few ideas on what kind of dress I am looking at.  But that is all over the place, I figured if I knew what kind of jewelry I am wearing, I can decide what to do.  But so far I really like this Indian designer in London, Charmi Creations.  I love her outfits!!!  So it could be whichever color at this point.  I like the necklace a lot and it seems fairly easy to wear at non-desi functions too. 

    But do you think it will be okay for a bride to wear that on the reception, do you think people will be expecting more heavier type item.  I am wearing a heavy necklace for the shaadi, so I thought if we do our reception on the cruise ship like planned, a more lighter, modern theme should follow. 


    Do you think having blue along with pink in the dress will clash with the necklace?  I was thinking of having a little blue in it.
