Long time, no post

Hey ladies. So, I am back...I don't think I've been on TK since like March. I was busy with my student teaching internship and did not have a lot of spare time to do much of anything! Now that I've graduated (woo hoo!) I can get back to spending hours at a time on TK :-) 

How is everyone's wedding planning coming along? We are all getting down to the wire!!

    Tell us about student teaching!!  I just got a job as a media specialist at the elementary level.  What/who did you teach?  Do you get to stay and work at the school now?

    I really enjoyed student teaching. I did two placements; one in kindergarten and the other in 5th grade. I was really hesitant about the kinder placement as my prior experiences with that grade level have made me not want to teach it. But, I had an AWESOME cooperating teacher and I ended up loving kindergarten...which surprised the hell out of me. 5th was good, too. I love the content at that level, but I could honestly do without all of the drama. I could really see myself teaching at any grade level. Honestly, in this economy, I will take whatever I can get! :-)

    Now, it's job hunting time. I interviewed for the county that I student taught in, so hopefully I will get a job!
