Wedding Barn Help

Hi,
I am looking for a barn to have my reception in within an hour of Maryville. I've only found a few in the metro, which are too far away. Any help would be greatly appreciatied. Thanks!

I love that one but still a little too far since I have a lot of out-of-state guests who will be staying up in Maryville. I'm not ruling it out yet but still looking for other options. Thanks!

The only other option I can think of is the Agriculteral barns in Albany, MO. They're not actual old barns, they're finished on the inside, but you can rent them out for events.  They're not nearly as nice and authentic as the one in Weston!  As far as I know there's nothing else like that around there unless you were to contact someone with a private barn and work with them.

You should look in the St. Joe area.

I also agree with the Weston area :) My OOT guests will probably be staying in KC after the Excelsior Springs reception... haven't quite got all that organized yet, but it is definitely a work in progress. You know your guests better than you do - I'm sure they'd be willing to "go the extra mile" for you, maybe?? Also, their hotel might offer a shuttle service. Something else to consider...

There is also a state park- Weston Bend State Park.  It has a old barn and rustic look.  I also think the rate was very cheap but one downfall I remember is they have portable toilets.  No inside toilets but maybe you could rent one of those nice big ones.  Just an idea.

Here is a link to the website and phone number:  http://www.mostateparks.com/westonbend.htm

Thanks for all the suggestions. Do you have the contact info for the Agricultural Barns in Albany? Thanks again. It's really appreciated Smile

The barn in Weston Bend State Park (the Bee Creek shelter is the official name) only has vault toilets and no running water. Just FYI!
