Harrassed by Bella Bridal Network?

Heyyy.. I went to a bridal expo sometime in January and since then I have been getting non-stop calls (which typically they leave voicemail). I eventually accepted their offer to make them stop calling. They said I won a vacation package valued at $700.00 and some other stuff.

I signed up to go to their show, but didn't make it due to reading up on it online/other plans.

Has anyone gone to their show? What happened there?

Even though I missed the show... I really hope the calls stop. I don't like when people constantly call! I have enough to worry about with the wedding already haha.

Re: Harrassed by Bella Bridal Network?

  • I received the same phone calls.  I answered the most recent call and asked to be removed from the call list and that seemed to work.  I also contacted the folks at Columbus Bride to let them know about the harassment.  I've received calls and emails from vendors who weren't even at the show and it's the only place I gave my info out.
  • Uggh, I haven't been to the bridal expos or anything and still am getting calls and emails from them. And text messages, which I hate, especially from someone in a "professional" setting (it's just a pet peeve, no real reason). I think it's because I signed up for a sweepstakes through The Knot, so I should have known this was comming.

  • Yikes! We already have enough to worry about... Being harrassed by a company just for going to an expo just plain sucks. :/

I haven't received a call since I was supposed to go to their show, hopefully the calls will stop. Thankfully most of them go to voicemail, but it's still really REALLY annoying. I'm glad I don't get texts, I have a pet peeve about that too.
  • I am sooo happy to hear that I am not the only one!  I have been getting email, call, text non stop since January!  It's very annoying!!!
  • I went to a bridal show this past weekend in Pittsburgh and received a call the other day from Bella Bridal Network.  My fiance and I were supposed to go to their show tonight, but after looking into it and hearing about other people's experiences, we decided not to.  I called them a little bit ago and told them something came up and we wouldn't be able to make it and to remove us from their list of attendees for tonight.  I haven't heard back yet and I hope I don't!

I also got a call last night from somewhere different (I don't remember the name of the company), but she said I won a package similar to the Bella Bridal Network one.  She said I had to go to their show either tonight, tomorrow, or Saturday.  When I said those days wouldn't work, she told me to have a nice day and hung up!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has decided not to go to the Bella Bridal Network thing.

  • I signed up for the sweepstakes through the Knot and got at least one call a day from them. It's was so annoying. I finally picked up and asked to be removed from their calling list and haven't gotten a call since.
  • I made the mistake of actually going to their show. They try to sell you $3,000 dollars worth of cookware... They were very good at selling it, and me and my fiance are both very young and niave and signed up for it :/ fortunately we were able to cancel it in time. I am doing perfectly fine with ym $50 dollar set of pots and pans from walmart :) No one in their right mind would pay $3,000 dollars for cookware. Don't go. It's a waste of time, and you might get tricked into something like we did.
