    You ladies are making me feel bad about not doing cards this year.... I've done them every year and have received less and less back. I assumed people just weren't doing them anymore.

    I'm just back from shopping - have almost everything now. Am trying to get a bed for my spare room - DS will be here in a week, and right now he'll be sleeping on a mattress on the floor!

    Dinner and dance tonight, but I'd rather be home on the couch...

    We send fewer and fewer cards each year.  I remember early in my marriage to xH, we used to have a list of probably 50+.  It seemed like a huge project every year to sign and send the cards.

    I have a few more gifts to buy but I know what they will be.  I'm trying to talk H into joining me to get a health club membership.  I was thinking about that Cardinal Fitness for $10/month.  As far as I can tell on the website, the stipulation is that you can only use the one facility.  We have one really convenient to our home so this wouldn't be a hardship.  Anyone else have this membership plan?

    I have something in my R eye, but I can't see what it is.  It's maddening!

    Yup, almost done, Liatris - just stocking stuffers for FI and the holiday groceries. Not a big deal!

    Cards went out on Thursday (except for neice and nephew, those go out this week). I will send my parents gifts with DS on the 29th, and FI sent his family stuff this week as well. It feels so good to be done.

    All is left is baking, and I want to make some ornaments with DD - probably tomorrow.

    Son of a Nutcracker!  Shopping sucked.  They were out of tons of stuff I need for holiday baking.  Seriously, there are no candied red cherries, peppermint stick ice cream, or phyllo dough anywhere in town.  *sigh*  I don't want to make the dough.
