New York-Hudson Valley

$60-$75 per person

Hello. I also posted this on the NYC board. I thought I would try here too.

Does anyone know of a catering hall that is $60 per person? My friend is inviting 100 people. She's planning on getting married during off season, somewhere between January and March of 2012. Anyplace in the Bronx, Manhattan (lol), Queens, lower Westchester, or NJ that is close to those areas is acceptable. Sorry, I know nothing about Jersey so I can't be more specific.

Thanks.

$60 per person after tax and service charge or before?

I guess before. She needs to do the whole thing for no more than $7,500 (including taxes and gratuity)

She could try Chalet on the Hudson but that's upper Putnam almost Dutchess County.

Someone else probably knows a lot better than me, but what is the cheapest package at the Fountainhead? I'm sure it's not 60, but it might be as close as you can get in the area she wants. I know people spending 300pp in Manhattan, so I'm pretty sure that's out for 60.

I don't know of any catering halls that could do it at that price, but she may also want to consider looking at restaurants with banquet rooms, etc. Good Luck!

For $60pp, she's going to have to look at either restaurants or maybe a Thursday night wedding at a catering hall. Or if she waits to book, she might get a friday night at that price, But at over a year out, most of the big wedding places will waiut to see if someone will pay the package price they they offer. Which is probably not going to be $60pp.

Okay, thanks so much. I spoke to her and she said she might be able to pay $75 a person before taxes and gratuity. That's the absolute max. Thanks again for all of your help.

try the radisoon hotel, new rochelle... Ask for Christina (I think) --- Ask her for the private room / penhouse room ... I believe you paid for the room ....from there you can order catering.... then after that they have a disco ... and you can book their private room too...
    good luck

Not in your area, but I feel like the Poughkeepsie Grand was in that price range when we looked at it.

I looked at the Fountainhead and they were going to give me $85/pp for a July wedding (granted we were trying to book less than a year out so that helped) If she wants to get married off-season maybe they'd lower their price even more. It's very nice inside.
