How many weddings have you been in (as a bp member)? Only one so far. Not many of my friends have made the big leap into married life yet. Nor have my sisters....but the one time I was in a wedding, I was a MOH.
What color(s) was the dress?It was chocolate brown, chiffon.
Did you ever wear it again?God no, I hate brown. I even picked out the dress. I just don't like the color OR the material.
What is the most you've ever spent on a bm dress?$200 + $60 alterations.
Did you ever 'shorten it to wear it again'?No, it will always look like a bm dress.

How many weddings have you been in (as a bp member)?

I was going to be a jr. bm for my aunt a long time ago, but the groom called it off. Then they got married about a year later (we couldn't make it) and then divorced a few after that.

What color(s) was the dress

I think it was going to be sage. My sister was going to be a flower girl and her dress was peach

Did you ever wear it again?

Luckily the wedding was called off early enough that we were able to cancel the order, but I'm sure I would have worn if for something like Easter. My sister's dress couldn't be cancelled and she did wear it again.

What is the most you've ever spent on a bm dress?

How many weddings have you been in (as a bp member)? I was in my sister's wedding as a BM, and a friend's wedding as a guest book attendant.

What color(s) was the dress? The BM dress was brown.

Did you ever wear it again? I actually wore it to the friend's wedding, just with a different sash. I've also thought about wearing it when we go out nice places, it's pretty simple.

What is the most you've ever spent on a bm dress? The one dress was about $180 with the sash and underskirt, didn't need alterations.

Did you ever 'shorten it to wear it again'? It's tea length, so shortening it would have been quite strange.

I don't think it really counts but I was a flower girl in my aunt's wedding.

It was kind of an off white.

Did you ever wear it again?

This was actually the second time wearing it they loved my communion dress and asked if I could wear that.

What is the most you've ever spent on a bm dress?

I think it was less then 100.

That dress is long gone.

MOH- black- borrowed from bride
BM- DB Lavender

Did you ever wear it again?
Not a chance in hell. One was the bride's.. the other was not flattering at all and I had (and still have) no use for a lavender floor length gown with no shape.

What is the most you've ever spent on a bm dress?
$130 for BM dress $45 for alterations

Did you ever 'shorten it to wear it again'?
Nope, but I did give it to my sister in case any of her friends needed a prom dress, or she wanted satin binding for a quilt she was making..

I did, however, wear the FG and Acolyte dresses again, for Easter or Christmas, or just to chufch.

Two as an adult. (Once as MOH, once as a BM). About 6 as a child.

What color(s) was the dress?

When I was MOH, red. THe other, nasty yellow.
I don't really remember the other ones, but I think pink, peach and white.

Did you ever wear it again?

The red one, yes. It wasn't actually a BM dress, but just a cocktail dress from Ann Taylor off the rack. I wore it like 7 times, and if I can get it in, I want to wear it to DH's Christmas party this year.

I wore the ones from when I was a kid several times.

I left the yellow one in the trash at the hotel. It was awful.

What is the most you've ever spent on a bm dress?

The yellow one was about $150, plus alterations. The red one was about $75.

Did you ever 'shorten it to wear it again'?
No, but that's something I'd do. I wanted to buy one of the dresses my BMs wore and shorten it for a cocktail dress, but that's not very cost effective.

the one when I was a kid was emerald green, the one I wore recently was black.

Did you ever wear it again?
The green one my mom shortened to tea length and I wore it as my Christmas dress that year. The black one will never be worn again. No, black doesn't always make it wearable. It was totally NMS and near impossible to wear a bra with.

What is the most you've ever spent on a bm dress?
$130. Yep, $130 for a LBD.

Did you ever 'shorten it to wear it again'?
The green one yes, the black one is already short.

How many weddings have you been in (as a bp member)? Technically 5. I was a FG 3 times, a BM once, and last summer when FI was a GM (Banana, this was the guy who was "dragged" down the aisle), I was assigned (The day before, by the bride, whom I love to death) the title "Groom/GM wrangler" . Yes, they're grown men, and I'd probably be horrified if somebody else mentioned such a position around here, but in this situation it was hilariously fitting.

What color(s) was the dress? The FG dresses where all white, the BM dress is my infamous Mac 'N Cheese dress (The store kept trying to tell me it was "tangerine". They lied). My "Groom Wrangler" dress was a black cocktail dress.

Did you ever wear it again? The one FG dress was worn for Christmas and a christening after, another wound up being my communion dress, the 3rd only got one use. The Orange Horror (Which I found out I couldn't dye, damn you, polyester!) wound up being used for Halloween this year (I was the "Halloween Beauty Queen"). I was not "assigned" the black cocktail dress, it's something I owned before and have worn a few times before and since.

What is the most you've ever spent on a bm dress? The Orange Horror was $170 + $60 of alterations (Which, if I went through the store, it would have been $120 for the alerations, even though it was the store's fault I needed them).

Did you ever 'shorten it to wear it again'? No. In fact, now that I finally got a second use out of the orange one, I have every intention of getting rid of it.

I've been in 3 weddings. I was a flower girl and then a BM twice - once when 14 and the other time was two months ago.

As a FG, the dress was quite lovely and I wore it again for holidays and violin recitals. The dress I wore when I was 14 I NEVER wore again. It was lovely but I didn't have formal events to attend at 14 and now it's certainly dated looking.

I won't wear the BM dress I just wore again either as is. I may shorten it into a cocktail dress though.

The most I ever spent was the $120 on that dress but I spent $100 on alterations for it.

What is the most you've ever spent on a bm dress? $250??? I really can't remember.

Did you ever 'shorten it to wear it again'? No. I promptly got rid of every BM dress within a month of wearing them.

FG were floral prints that my mom made
BMs were black and not picked yet but looking like DB fern green

black one no and I doubt I'll wear the fern one either
I wore the FG ones again

160 plus 40 for alterations

BM - baby blue

Did you ever wear it again?

No. I hated the BM dress passionately. The MOH one is pretty, but way too "bridesmaidy." (People who see the pictures keep asking me when I'm going to wear it again, though. IDGI.)

What is the most you've ever spent on a bm dress?

$240 + alterations

No. The length isn't what makes it bridesmaidy.

I have been in two: both were for my older sisters

One sister chose navy blue, the other chose lilac. I never wore the navy one again, but is was still pretty and looked nice on me. The lilac dress I wore to prom a year later.

I have never spent money on a bridesmaid dress because my parents paid for both of the dresses for my sisters' weddings, both of which took place at the end of my junior year of high school. I didn't shorten either of them.

Edit: I guess I forgot about when I was a flower girl once. The dress was a teal green, and I used it for a dress up dress all the time :)

3 I remember offhand but it was more than that.

One was pink, one lavender, one navy.

Did you ever wear it again?

Only the navy one. The other two were hideous.

What is the most you've ever spent on a bm dress?

$350 or so. And it was the most hideous one - the lavender.

Didn't need to. The navy one was a floor-length halter dress I loved. I've worn it at least 4 times since, to formal events. I attend at least 2-3 formal events a year, so floor length is a staple in my wardrobe.
