Bachelorette/Girls weekend - cost?

Hey Ladies...just wanted your input on this...

How much are your Bachelorette/Girls weekend costing....?
Are you paying your way?
Are you chipping in for the over all cost?
How much is the price for each girl who is participating?

I think it all depends on what people decide to do. Right now, I have a group of friends that are out in Vegas for a bachlorette party. That's costing a lot of money, which is unfortunately, why I couldn't go.

I have no idea what I will do and I don't want anything over the top or crazy, so a low key night is fine for me. I'd probably pay my own way, since that's just how I am. Since I want low key, I can't imagine it will be crazy expensive. Just another night out for most.

    Hi Bhanu&Anuj

I wanted to do something big like Miami (FI is going to NO this wkd, am bit jealous haha) but my sis said to be fair to all the girls pick NYC because some of them will have tough time making it, am having both the bridal shower and the bach. party the same day too. Bridal shower will be in the morning at my sisters place she is getting cake and food so I dont know the cost on that...shower is followed by bach. party in the evening. Between the hotel cost and dinner and train my sis absorped some of the cost for the girls for the hotel stay. I think total is about $200-250  since most girls are just driving to jersey and then taking a train to NYC,if we flew somewhere it would def. be more than that. I am excited its next wkd!

    Hey jnsaini

Is the total...$200/250 per person for the party...or the overall cost for the b-party?

I think that since, traditionally, your girlfriends plan it as a gift to you, it'd be mostly up to them and what they can afford. I think it'd be in my hometown area but it'd be classed up. I just want to make sure they can afford it and either way, I'm appreciative, because no one has to do this for me. And yes, I'd be happy to chip in. I love my girls and money is tough - I'm not above putting in for my own party...the economy is rough right now!
