Productive and Relaxing bachelor party weekend!

So, the bachelor party was this weekend and i was kicked out of our apartment so that 20 stinky drunk guys could stay there. So my Mom and I had the best weekend!

We prepped all the centerpieces so they are now 100% ready to go, which is probably the biggest relief! I started making the totes I'm giving to the BMs and they're almost done already! We ordered pashmina's online for all of them and got them Saturday - they're perfect - and ordered their jewelry! Started the RB pillow. Gathered my something borrowed, blue, old, and new (i'm tying my 3 deceased grandparent's wedding rings to my bouquet for my something old - it makes me want to cry everytime I think about it!). Yay to lots of checks!

But the best part is that I got my first facial ever on Saturday! My mom, aunt, and I went to this organic spa in Long Grove and it was so ridiculously relaxing, i was like a puddle by the time we had to leave. After a 30 minute chair massage, I had an hour long facial and chemical peel, and she gave me a massage while my hydrating mask was soaking in. I was sooooo nervous, but the results are incredible! While the spa is organic, they also have a technician that is trained in medical spa treatments and she uses those instead of the organic stuff for things like acne which can't be treated organically. I learned so much about acne and how to deal with it and I'm going back for 3 more before the wedding :) I know they say not to change your beauty routine before the wedding, but at 1.5 months out, I was willling to take a chance so i don't have huge pimples on my big day and I can see a big difference already!

Yep - Mariola's Organic Spa in Long Grove
    http://www.mariolasorganicspa.com/

I spoke to Mariola beforehand to tell her what I really wanted out of the facial and what my skin issues were and then she paired me with the medical spa technician. I strongly suggest doing that too! It's a smaller spa, so I think they can only do 2-3 facials at a time - but you can get a massage while the others are getting facials!! So relaxing! Mariola and her husband are the cutest, sweetest couple!
