My FI so far gave me shorts and a lime green adidas shirt to work out in, and a jewelry tree (seen below). I will open 5 more presents between tonight and tomorrow.

    Edited because I'm KUI.

I was really hoping for a thread like this on Christmas Eve! Edie, I'm not super familiar with Hanukkah. What kind of celebrating do you do?

Yeah, I'm not a fan of celebration threads too far in advance. Although, to be fair, It's not Christmas in other parts of the world lol.

I don't know what Edie does, but for Chanukah, we light the menorah, open gifts, and eat potato latkes. It's good times.

My FI is a very functional thinker. I think the most romantic gift he has given me is flowers. In the past I have recieved, surrond sound system, pots and pans, cell phones, printer. So this year, I wanted him to get in the habit of getting me things I actually want with out putting him through shock. I asked him to tint the windows on my car. As of Thursday, my car windows have been tinted. Before then, he did purchase two pair of shoes. ( I LOVE SHOES)

It's not Christmas yet, but I know my H didn't get me anything.  Then again, if he did get me something - he would just tell me a $ amount and I would go choose something.

I got a Kindle Fire!  We weren't supposed to be spending too much on each other because we just bought a condo, but we always enjoy surprising each other.  FI is excited because now he gets my old Kindle :)

He got me an iPad! I was totally shocked, thrilled, and yelled at him for spending too much, but at least we have a couple of years until the wedding. :)

I will be getting a kitchen aid stand mixer. I already have one but I make cakes and other desserts out of my apartment and love to bake so I believe you can never have enough mixers :D

I was also supposed to get a small batman plushy from hmv but I bought myself one a few days ago so he returned it. (I have a thing for batman)

More than he should have gotten for me!  He already gave me the e-ring so I told him not to get me too much for Christmas but he still got me a Homedics shiatsu massage pad for our desk chair, a storage ottoman, and a really cozy pair of socks.  I love wearing thick, cushy socks and he gets me a new pair each year.
