Help me with an e-pic outfit (PIP)

I suck at dressing myself, so PLEASE help me out.

I'm trying to do 2 outfits for e-pics - one more casual (jeans) and the other maybe a sweater dress or something.

So I was thinking something like this for the 1st outfit:




And I could take the jacket off for some pictures too if it ends up being nice enough.
 
FI thinks the dark blue jeans/grey jacket/pink look silly together.  What do you guys think - different top? different jacket? different everything? Ok as is?

    I think you can wear pink and gray together, but something seems off.  Maybe it's the way the pink shirt lays under the jacket that it's too busy around the neckline?  I do like the idea of a white shirt underneath and it looks like you have a more olive skin tone so white shouldn't wash you out.  My other thought is to go with the pink shirt either by itself or maybe with a cardi over it.  I like the pink with the dark jeans.

    I think a white shirt is a good idea too - problem solved! Now i just need cute, colorful shoes and im all set :)

    That will look good Md! Get some shoes that really pop! If you have the white shirt and grey jacket you can really do any fun color. I'm partially to red shoes, so I think that would look fabulous, but wear a color you really love :-)

    sari - I actually picked up red shoes at DSW yesterday for this outfit (and just to have).  I'm so excited for these pics now!

    Sounds like you have a great outfit picked out!  Red shoes with that jacket and jeans will be perfect.

    I really do like that pink shirt, too, but I'm glad you are going with white and a pop of color with the shoes.
