MY HAIR!!

I cannot believe that this happened to me...I went to get a hair cut and I ask for 3 inches off the bottom and layers. I know that sounds like a lot to ask for, but my hair was way past my rib cage....now my hair is right at my collar bone. It took 3-4 years to get it that length and there is no way I will have it that long for my wedding which is a year from now....I measured one of the hairs on the floor and it was 12 inches long...hmm I wonder how she messed up that badly...well that's my rant for the day...

thanks for listening...if anyone has any tips on how to make my hair grow faster it would be appreciated!

You could wear it up, that way is doesn't matter how long it is.  Or consider hair extensions closer to the wedding?

I don't know how long you typically go between trims but if you trim it more often it will grow faster.  My hair was quite long and I had it chopped to my shoulders (at least 7 inches came off) and within a month at least 3 inches had grown back because it was sooo much healthier.  So I would suggest trimming it every 6 weeks (obviously somewhere different because they don't understand that concept) and hopefully it will grow quickly for you! But if it doesn't there are always extensions and up-dos that will look great also! Good luck!

Oh no! Well, you have a year to grow it at least. You could try that Pantene Beautiful Lengths shampoo. I've used it, and I don't know if it really does anything, but I did like it. Worth a shot!

<div>Not to rain on the parade, but this is completely untrue.   The root of your hair (where new growth happens) has no idea what is happening at the end.</div><div>
</div><div>However, trimming the ends keeps the hair looking healthy,  as the part at the ends is the oldest.  It also prevents split ends, which will allow you to keep the length you have. </div><div>
</div><div>Which means our OP has ridiculously shiny and healthy hair :)</div><div>
