Affordable/Inexpensive Florist?

My FI and I are planning our wedding, and we don't have a whole ton of budget wiggle room.  What are some recs for an inexpensive florist, particularly since we're just looking for bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres (sp?), and cake petals (no centerpieces or other ceremony/reception flowers)?  TIA!

If you give a vendor your budget any of them should be able to work with you- I used Katie Elfers Inspired Floral Design. She was able to suggest cost savings with flowers and work with my budget. Her work is amazing.

I second Susan Foy the Wedding Designer.  She never turned away any budget.  When I shopped around, she was the cheapest and quote me more flowers for my money.  That was a really good feeling.  I highly recommend her.

We're going with Kroger, actually.  I need 4 bouquets, a small bouquet for flower girl, 5 corsages, 3 bouts, and loose flowers for centerpieces and I'm getting it all for around $300!!

I'd recommend Two Little Buds! Good luck!

Thanks so much for the suggestions :-).  I'm going to start checking them out, and hopefully they'll have openings and be willing to work with my FI and me.

I am getting my flowers through Furst Florist.

The FlowerMan is also an option if you want to put together your own bouquets (they'll help if you need it).

    Good luck!

Just want to 2nd/3rd the comments on Susan Foy, The Wedding Designer - I found her through the knot postings for our wedding in June and she is so easy to work with in terms of suggestions and budget !!

The Flowerman is outrageously expensive unless you put together the flowers yourself. Jeff Martin Florist in Kettering quoted about a 1/3 of the cost for the same flowers and he was voted "Best of the Knot" for the past two years.

I contacted Susan Foy but she was booked.  She referred me to Village Floral and Amelia Florists.  I visited both and chose Village Floral.  Jenny at Village Floral was very creative, worked with my budget and offered delivery service to both the ceremony and the reception.
    Best of luck!
