If you're looking for something on the water, Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa is pretty budget friendly esp for a friday night.

what's the $$$ amount for budget friendly?  Because for us, we were close to a $167/pp venue and when we found a venue for $100/pp we found it to be VERY budget friendly!  I've investigated a ton of places below and above that so if you can tell me a round-about figure, I can name some places.

You may want to specify what you are looking for.... beach, city, country, etc.  There are tons of great places!!!  I see you are looking for a Friday now. Good choice! lol!

Check Liriodendron Mansion, Geneva Farm Golf Club, Fiore Winery.

I just answered this over on the MD board too....

I'm not sure what you consider affordable.  We are getting married at Morningside Inn in Frederick.  It has low head count minimums for non-Saturday weddings and lower rental fees on those days as well.  We are paying ~$65/pp for dinner, passed aps and open bar.

We had our ceremony & reception at Overhills Mansion in Catonsville, the rental was $1100, food was $35/pp and the 4-hour open bar ended up being about $12/pp (they allow you to bring in your own liquor).
