Looking for a beach location/vendor - any experiences?

Hi All

We got engaged a year and a half ago and are now looking at a outdoor/beach wedding. We are from Tampa, Fl and were looking around Anna Maria Island or anywhere near the coastline.

Do you have any experiences on what is the most beautiful beach location?

Can you recommend a vendor/company for the ceremony/set up?


It will be only me, my fiancee his parents and mine, so 6 people.

    I'm excited to see your responses!  We are going to FL in October (from MN) for our beach wedding and will only be bringing our two children and my mom.  We want something simple with the focus being on a romantic cermony, great family pictures and a fun evening afterwards (we are leaning towards a dinner cruise out of Clearwater). 

    However, we don't know the are very well and have no clue where to get married or what service to use!  Congrats on your engagement!

    We did a destination wedding on Anna Maria Island and it was beautiful.  The water was so blue and the beach very nice.  We used Sand Petal Weddings for everything.  They were wonderful!!!  They have all different packages you can chooses from - a small intimate ceremony to a large event.  Check out their website - sandpetalweddings.com  I highly recommend them!

    2chumps- I just went to a wedding a week ago at Starlite Cruises out of clearwater. It was beautiful!
